Bubba is 1/2 pembroke corgi 1/2 chihuahua who just turned 13 December 1st!! I am so happy to be there for his birthday party. He is in fantastic shape despite enduring two separate reconstructive knee surgeries (torn acl, pcl, and meniscus). I have never met a tougher or more loyal soul….And i know many who are enduring natural life behind bars. We have been in many fights together. We win some and loose some. But we always keep fighting. Bubba is the inspiration for the name “corgishoe”.
El-A (named after UCONN point guard Khalid El-Amin because she is short and stumpy like he is) is a 6 year old pembroke welsh corgi. She is too smart for her own good and the sweetest dog ever. She is truly the sunshine in my life. She lives for a single kiss from Bubba and her day is filled with making sure she knows exactly what Bubba is doing.
The Beans (Bubba and El-A’s nickname because they both looked like beans as puppies) have always remembered me like i never left, and follow me around like i am wearing two corgi slippers. Always been there for me and never betrayed me. As far as the alpha order i’d have to say it goes Bubba>El-A>Me. One day i will share all my stores about Bubba and El-A, the truth about shoes, and of course spoons, balloons, and motel rooms and then some day you will see things my way.
